Can I safely install Windows 8 on my Pavilion ZD8000

HP Recommended

I have a ZD8000 with XP on it and I would like to know if it will take Windows 8 Pro and run? Any help with this issue will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Michael,

Run the Win 8 upgrade assistant found here.

Moving from XP to Win 8 may be problematic. Upgrading to Win 7 may be the safer approach.

Your call. I have moved XP systems to Win 7 but have not upgraded any XP systems to Win 8.

Jaco
