HP Pavilion g7
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP g7 with an AMD A6-4400m APU and 8GB of RAM installed. I got this laptop as a gift from my parents and often find myself with a pretty high cpu load % in the task manager. This is just while doing normal multitasking and with a fresh install of Windows 10. I know my way around desktops pretty well but not too sure about laptops so any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated. With my luck the cpu will be soldered to the board though. Thanks in advance.

Under the system summary in Windows 10 I can't find an exact model number but here is a screenshot of it in case you can find something there that I can't? If this does not help could you guide me where else to look please?

Look at the performance increase that CPU will give you. (WOW)

I know right! that's crazy, I am on Amazon right now and am finding TONS of people upgrading from the A6 to the A10. I am going to see how many dimms I have available for RAM also since the A10 supports quad channel (I doubt my board will allow it though). For only $50 or so upgrading the cpu  to the A10 looks like it's well worth the money.
