Can i upgrade my hdd in my hp sleekbook 6-1090ee ?????

Product Name: Sleekbook 6-1090ee
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to upgrade my hdd from 500 GB to 1 TB or more, can I?

Yes you can, more is ok but you need to think about many information in there if HDD failed. SSD's on my machines are very small (capacity) I actually keep information on my computers very little; keep photos (more than 50 years history including scanned photos), videos (mainly my grandson) and my documents on SAN. I also keep a  copy on other external device.


The quick and easy way:


(a) Buy new HDD and an external enclosure.

(b) Clone existing HDD to new HDD/SSD, using many free cloning software.

(c) Physical swap.

(d) Now you can put old HDD to the external enclosure to use as an external HDD.
