Re: Can i upgrade my hdd in my hp sleekbook 6-1090ee ?????

Hi,

Yes you can, more is ok but you need to think about many information in there if HDD failed. SSD's on my machines are very small (capacity) I actually keep information on my computers very little; keep photos (more than 50 years history including scanned photos), videos (mainly my grandson) and my documents on SAN. I also keep a  copy on other external device.

The quick and easy way:

(a) Buy new HDD and an external enclosure.

(b) Clone existing HDD to new HDD/SSD, using many free cloning software.

(c) Physical swap.

(d) Now you can put old HDD to the external enclosure to use as an external HDD.

Regards.
