Can you cut the wifi cable and the monitor cable?

Can you cut the wifi cable and the monitor cable, remove the cover/scree and use an external monitor without having to go inside and unplug them?

Hi,

1. Wifi is normally for wireless (no cable at all).

2. You can cut anything BUT we need to know exactly what is your hardware to be able to show you where to cut or can not cut.

Regards.

What other cables go to the screen and display cover from the laptop?

Hi,

As mentioned above, we need to know exactly what is the model of your laptop and what are you trying to do. How many cables are you using ? From where to where ?

It looks like you are talking about the antenna but NOT sure.

Regards.

If you did that then a Computer repair shop is in order cutting wires is the worst thing to do in a laptop especially when you don't know the in and outs of a laptop.

Hi,

I know the story now. You cut the screen out and no wifi because wifi needs antenna around the screen. No antenna, no wifi.

You need to re-connect them (antenna) back and much better to go to a HP authorized repair shop.

Regards.
