Hi,

I wanted to upgrade my pc from a HDD to SSD, but I dont have an USB to SATA cable, so I tried to clone the drive with my other PC. I used EaseUs software to clone the HDD, but when I insert my SSD in my PC I get an error code: 0xc0000225, winload.efi is missing or corrupt.

Does HP have other software that will probably work or do you know any methods with another PC that will work?

I appriciate your help!

I suggest purchasing or borrowing a USB to SATA cable.

They are available for $15.00 USD.

Thanks, erico!

Should I still use EaseUs software to clone that drive?
