Compaq Presario CQ61 won't connect to internet but is connected to router

HP Recommended

I am unable to connect to the internet.  It shows that I'm connected to my wireless router, however the green bars in the lower right hand corner aren't lit up green, they are still a solid white.  I've tried to trouble shoot my network adapter and it says it's fixed but I still can't get onto the internet.  Please help!  :Crying:

Hi:

A few questions for you...

Have you been able to connect in the past using this notebook?

Did you update any software?

Did you get a new router?

What wireless card do you have in your notebook?

What operating system (you say no green bars, so I assume Windows 7)?

Paul
