Computer overheats, shutsdown and won't reboot for 15 - 20 minutes. Then at times it flashes a blue screen with the following statement:"Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info. and then we'll restart for you."
And in smaller print it indicates to visit http:windows.com/stopcode. STOPCODE DRIVER POWER STAE FAILURE

Hello @john_rohme
Welcome to the HP Support forum. Thank you for posting.
Can you start the computer eventually , can you load it to Windows desktop ?
The overheating is typically a symptom of a hardware problem.
Please, check this article from HP and follow the steps > http://support.hp.com/rs-en/document/c01657439
The Blue screen (BSOD) is kind of Windows self-protection feature. If you received a blue screen error, or stop code, the computer has shut down abruptly to protect itself from data loss. A hardware device, its driver, or related software might have caused this error. What you describe could happen because of incompatible with Windows driver (most often) or because of hardware issue (rarely).
