Creators update locks up my laptop

HP Recommended
HP ENVY 360 15-u363cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Laptop locks up every time I click favorites tab and nothing pops up in my favorites list. If I click the favorites bar the list comes up. Please help. Should I uninstall this update? Will uninstalling it adversely effect the proper operation of my laptop? It was working fine before this update. Laptop came with Windows 8 and upgraded to Windows 10 for free when it was available.

Hi @SAXONIZE,

Thank you for posting on HP Support Forums. It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel. For you to have the best experience on the HP forum, you could also visit our HP Forums Guide for the First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More.

I see from the post that you are having issues after the recent creator update. Don't worry as I have a few steps which should help you resolve this issue.

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

What browser are you using?

Did you try to reset the browser?

In the meantime, you could try to reset the browser and check if that works.

You could go ahead and uninstall the update and check if that helps.

Uninstalling the update will not affect the performance of the computer.

For more steps, please follow this link.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you need any further assistance. I'll be more than happy to help.

Eagerly waiting for your response!

I hope you have a good day ahead,

And Feel free to ask your queries as this forum has some of the best people in the world available and ready to help.

Regards,
