Has anyone had success connecting a docking station (P\N) VB041AA:
to two different external monitors? The dock connectors include:
If you have had success, please post details regarding:
* setup / configuration (which connectors, monitor resolutions, OS)
* Laptop Model (EliteBook 2170P 8440P 8460P )
* any obstacles that had to be overcome
* lessons learned
I look forward to hearing how elite users have successfully setup dual external displays. Using the laptop display panel is not of interest for this discussion.

Looks like the 2170P and 8440P are out of the picture, only the 8460P as shown:

@banhien: thank you for the nifty link. Much appreciated.
Dual external monitor was successful with:
* Monitor 1: 2560X1080: displayport
* Monitor 2: 1280X1024 : VGA
Required a reboot for Win7 to acquire the second monitor. I can now RDP into the desktopthat was originally connected to monitor 2 and copy and paste text between the two machines much more easily. The only drawback is that video through RDP is a non-starter, so it must be done through the laptop.
An attempt to subustitute an Acer (1600 x 900 ) monitor (VGA and DVI) for monitor 2, but no joy.
