Docking bay: LE877AA#AB (2560 Docking Bay)A vs A9B77AA#ABA (2570 Docking Bay)

Elitebook 2560
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

A LE877AA#AB dock is paired to an Elitebook 2560P.   Several new A9B77AA#ABA units are available.

The HP EMEA website indicates (click here):

HP EliteBook 2540p, 2560p, and 2570p Notebook PC (The combination of the HP EliteBook 2540p Notebook PC with the HP 2570p Docking Station may result in a limited functionality of some of the docking station's connectors.)

I think this indicates that the 2560P is compatible.  Newegg's listing of the A9B77AA#ABA (click here) indicates compatibilty with the 2560P as well.

  1. Can anyone confirm that an Elitebook 2560P will work with the A9B77AA#ABA units are available?
  2. Which of the four USB ports is the only 3.0 port?

When confirming: if you have actually docked an Elitebook 2560P in a A9B77AA#AB, please state this in the reply.  Thank you
