Hi

Please start here... http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-dv7-6b00-entertainment-notebook-pc-serie...

and it is possible to create a backup using something like Macrium Reflect.

If in doubt please ask.

Download Recovery Manager

GauravSharma

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

I read your post about needing the HP Recovery Manager and wanted to help.

You can download it from this link :  Latest HP Recover Manager download

However ... if your Recovery partition is damaged, that is not going to work and in that case, your only recourse would be to order HP Recovery Media.

So, let us know how it goes.

Good Luck
