Envy 14 - Hard Drive failure - multiple times

HP Recommended
HP Envy 14 C
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello, My HP ENvy 14 C came with 6 GB memory and 250 GB hardrive (I think) . After almost 2 yr 3 months, replaced the memory to 16 GB, within 3 months after that, hard drive failed. Replaced the hard drive with a new one and changed the memory with 8 GB + 4 GB. with in 6 months, hard drive failed again. went bact to original memory (4 GB + 2 GB), and replacd with a new hard drive - in 9 months, 3rd hard drive failed again - is there any known issue that is causing the  Harddrive failure ??

Thanks

SG

By the way, the both new drives are one is 5400 RPM and 500 GB in size - that were failed after the original one that came along the new laptop.
