Factory Recovery option

Probook 4530S
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have a Probook 4530S which came with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. Someone who was trying to be helpful reinstalled Windows 7 but use the Home Premium disk and my license key won't work with that, of course. I have tried using F11 to no avail. The recovery partition appears to be intact but the utility to launch it at boot time appears to have been lost. Can anyone telll me how to get the factory recovery to work given that the restore disks were not made like they should have been?

From your description of the issue, you need to contact HP and order the usb recovery media for your notebook. That wil be the least expensive means of restoring the operating system that your notebook was delivered with.

How to order recovery media. I highly recommend the usb recovery media.
