Hi,

What about tapping f11 key as soon as you power on laptop?

If you've upgraded to Windows 10 from 7/8/8.1 previously, recovery partition may have got corrupted. Your only way to factory reset is to order recovery USB specific for your model from HP directly and boot from it to factory reset.

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

I read your post about problems doing a factory reset and wanted to help -- but need more information.

First of all, we need the detailed product number of your PC: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824?jumpid=reg_r1002_usen_c-001_title_r0001

Second, I see you're running Win10. Did the PC come preinstalled with Win10? Or, did you upgrade it from a prior OS to Win10?

This is important as the recovery/reset method is different for the two situations.

We can proceed when you provide the answers.

Then? Did you install anniversary update?

This can render Recovery partition inoperable.

Full model name, product number of your laptop?

OK so if you're not able to perform the suggestions in my first post here & since you've not created HP Recovery USB after first setup of this notebook, you could either:
Order Recovery USB from HP specific to your model:
http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/bph07143

Or do a clean install of Windows 10 Home 64 bit using Microsoft windows media creation tool by creating bootable installation USB.
https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2376-usb-flash-drive-create-install-windows-10-a.html

First one is charged by HP ($60), Second one is free.
