According to the message you have recently posted I would like to confirm that this is a hardware issue and you need to replace the hard disk drive on your laptop to resolve the issue. You can also Check your warranty Here to verify the warranty status

Hi,

Sadly to say: Most of the time the 24 char failure id indicates the HDD is failing and need to be replaced. Is it still under warranry ? If Yes, please call HP for a replacement.
