Hi,

If this is your Windows log-on password, try the following.

Open windows Control Panel, in the top right of this window click the dropdown menu for 'View by' and select Large Icons.  Now click User Accounts, click the Remove password link, enter the current password and then click the 'Remove Password' button.

Hello, I have the HP Pavillion and I have a password for when I log onto my laptop. I would like to know how I reset this so that there is no password whatsoever when I log onto my laptop. My keyboard is broken so I am taking it to get fixed this afternoon so I would really appreciate it if you could get back to me as soon as possible. Thank you.

Also, I have tried the instruction you gave above but it doesn't work so I don't know what to do. I have looked everywhere and there just doesn't seem to be any way to fiv this.

I tried this solution, but  there is no "Remove Password" link after I click on User Accounts.
