Hi, 

 I have a HP 14-am064TU .  Replaced the faulty hard drive with a new Hard drive which was sent by HP.  Tried to do a new, clean install ofWindows 7 Pro but I keep getting an error that says "a required cd/dvd device driver is missing". 

 

can HP 14-am064TU  model support window 7?before currenlty use window 10

You have the Braswell N3060 Celeron processor which has the same issues as the Sky Lake and Kaby Lake processors with Windows 7. You have to "slipstream" a special driver into the installation:

Windows 10 would be much easier.
