HP 2000 will not Boot after screen replacement

HP Recommended
HP 2000 Laptop (2000-2c20DX)
Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

I have a HP 2000 Laptop that had a broken screen due to being dropped. Replaced the screen with a N156B6-L0B ver3. which is the same model that came out of the laptop (model: 2000-2c20DX. after reassembling the laptop the unit will not boot when the power button is depressed. with the AC adapter PS and battery connected, the fan will spin for about 2-4 seconds and the WIFI light will light but the goes out with in the 3 second interval. nothing is displayed on the screen and no beeps produced. I have checked all connection and have even reseated them with no change. Has anyone ever had this occur after replacing a screen? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
