HP Connection Manager Service Has Stopped Responding

Hey Kingsleyfoo,

What notebook do you have?

Could you provide me with a model and product number of your notebook.

So that I may look into this further to try and provide you with more helpful instructions.

Re: HP Connection Manager Service Has Stopped Responding

I upgraded the Bios after windows 8 installation. I am not able to upgrade the Bios before installing the Windows 8 because of LoJack(Anti-theft Software- Absolute.com) that come with HP Envy 4-1026 TU. Finally resolve the issue with LoJack just afew days ago, and upgraded the bios to F.13

Re: HP Connection Manager Service Has Stopped Responding

I have the same problem with my Envy4-1030. I upgraded the BIOS less than a month ago, but I don't know the version. On mine, IE10 has stopped working (can't find sites), although Chrome and Firefox are both fine. May be unrelated.

hp Connection Service has stopped working. Do I need this?

Could we get someone to look at this issue? I have the same problem. My BIOS version is F.13. When hp Connection Service stops working, the performance of my browsers suddenly improves.

Do I need this service? How do I stop it from loading if I don't.
