HP Envy 17 Left Hinge

HP ENVY TS m7 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The left hinge of the laptop is causing the bottom case to pop off. Whenever I open the notebook, the black bottom portion of the laptop separates from the top grey portion, exposing the inside of the laptop. When I close the laptop, the bottom case snaps back into place.

I have had this laptop for over three years, with no other issue. Is there anything HP can do to resolve this hardware problem?

Thanks

@hicks462

  I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details). If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
