HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 15m-ee0023dx

Okay, so I previously had a MAJOR issue with my HP Envy x360 laptop. One of the USB drivers (type-c port) suddenly stopped working. I went thru all of the recommended fixes for it, and finally (and after great pains), I ended up having to go back to a previous BIOS version, and then re-update the bios. I was unaware that I should have decrypted my drive before doing this, and I ended up very nearly bricking my laptop. Mercifully, after a week of grueling anxiety, I managed to re-update the bios and fix the USB issue. Things have been relatively fine since ....UNTIL TODAY.

So I was using my laptop in tablet mode, and it ended up freezing, or reorienting itself incorrectly. I was able to restart it a few times after this happened, but after the 3rd restart, HP flat out refused to get past the black HP logo screen. Here is what I have tried so far, with no success, to remedy this problem:

1. Cold Booting until HP beings "preparing automatic repair". You can hear the fan turn on, then suddenly cut off. The screen will lock in this mode no matter how many times I attempt to restart. This led me to....

2. BIOS System/Component Checks. I initially ran a quick scan on my storage/memory/HDD, etc. The quick test turned up clear, so I ran the much longer system test and again--all clear. So the computer is not indicating that there are any component or hardware issues preventing startup. Finally, these results led me to...

3. Attempting to boot from the F11 recovery partition. After pressing the 'esc' key on startup before the HP screen had a chance to load, then selecting the F11 option to try and reboot from the recovery partition, but unfortunately it got stuck AGAIN at the HP loading screen with "Please Wait..."

......I'm not sure what else there is that I can do. I've thought about letting the battery run down until the laptop fully dies, then waiting a few hours before attempting to start it again so that it'll have a chance to reset, but that's the very last idea I have to fix it. I would appreciate ANY ADVICE YOU CAN GIVE ME!!! Losing my mind a little bit at this point. Thanks!!
