HP G62 b70SP - Can't enter Startup Menu, can't install a different image from Windows 7

Oh my God, I hate this laptop right now...

I have HP G62 b70SP and it's driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could enter once on the Startup Menu and changed the boot sequency to boot from my DVD drive but when I try to do it (with the WIndows 7 DVD already inside the drive), the laptop starts beeping all over the place and the sound drives me crazy!!!!

So now I can't enter the fricking Startup Menu because for some reason when I press ESC, nothing happens or I dunno, why in the hell you have these specific combo-keys to enter BIOS? Why not use the DEL key like every normal computer!!!

I need help, I want to at least be able to enter Startup Menu once again (I'm trying as I post this and can't put the stupid menu on the screen) so I can change the boot sequence back to the HDD. Also, why this laptop doesn't let me install whatever O.S. I want? Jesus I'm so mad right now... answer me quickly!!!!!!!

Hi KungLao86,

Welcome to the HP Forums!Smiley Happy

Thank you for your inquiry, I will do my best to assist you!

I regret that  you are having a difficulty booting to the Windows DVD and/or  entering the start menu.

On startup press the F8 approximately once every second to enter the Advanced Boot Options where you can select Safe mode.  Here is a document to assist you with this process. Entering Safe Mode (Windows 7)

Here are documents to assist you with doing a recovery, please do as many steps as the computer allows and reply with any additional information.

Performing an HP System Recovery (Windows 7)

Troubleshooting HP System Recovery Problems (Windows 7)

Restoring Files that were Backed Up Using HP Recovery Manager (Windows 7)
