Hi:

I have zipped and attached the 32 bit sata drivers you need under the Attachment line below.

Paul, this driver is for an Intel Sata driver. Will it work for Nvidia also?

No, it won't.

What is the full model number of your Mini 311?

I looked at the service manual and it showed an Intel chipset for the Min 311, not nvidia.

Hi:

I don't see why that notebook model would need a sata driver to install Vista.

There are no storage controller downloads on the support page.

I downloaded and disassembled the chipset driver, and I have zipped up and attached the IDE and RAID drivers under Attachments below.

I have programed other mini notebooks with XP and the Intel SATA driver and it worked fine, but trying to program this mini notebook with Vista, as soon as it reboots I get a message that it can not find any HDD. And this one has an Nvidia Sata controler.

Give those a shot then.

Those are the only ones that I know of.

Well Paul, I've been fighting with this HP Mini 311 for more than a week now, trying to get Windows Vista programed on it, but I have not been succesfull. The SATA Ide Driver you sent is doing the job with Windows XP Pro SP3. I am going to give up on trying to get Vista loaded on it. Thanks ever so much for all your help.
