HP Mediasmart software download for win 7 64-bit

I installed the Mediasmart webcam program. It installed so that it fires up, EXCEPT that the square where the capture should occur is transparent and whatever is on the desktop shows through, and the captures therefore fail. What have I done wrong and how to fix it? I have an HP Pavillion Entertainment PC  and am running Windows7 Professional.

Hi, I need your help. I cannot open Mediasmart options like Photo, Music and Video via PC Dock.

The answer is - The shortcut can not be found. Please explain what I have to do.

My HP is Pavilion dv6-2120ew (WH692EA) 64-bit.

I had the same problem once. I went to HP site in the downloads area. You enter your HP Model number, follow the instructions. Look for Media Software programs (or updates) find MediaSmart Menu and download it. Another good place to get is http://http//forum.notebookreview.com/hp-drivers-software-forum/519991-popular-hp-notebook-software....

Just look for the appropriate version.

Unfortunately there is no option for my HP Pavilion like MediaSmart Menu under Media Software Programs, only some parts like HP MediaSmart DVD, HP MediaSmart Photo etc. I can launch it through Start button (All programs) but not using  the HP Dock (HP Advisor). HP MediaSmart says - The shortcut can not be found...:smileysad:
