HP Mini Mi - Keyboard Stops Responding

I purchased the Ubuntu version of the Mini a few weeks back now and everything worked fine until about a week ago.  Since then the keyboard stops responding shortly after the machine starts up.  No settings adjusted and only one package, Mplayer, installed.  Anyone have any ideas?

Re: HP Mini Mi - Keyboard Stops Responding

Uninstalled Mplayer, no dice.  But a reinstall with the restore image fixed it.  Hate to do that without finding root cause.  Hopefully no more unexplainable problems.  Other than this problem, HP seems to have a winner with this machine.
