HP Notebook Model 15-g011nr

J5T26UA#ABA
Microsoft Windows 8 (32-bit)

My notebook will not boot up at all and I believe the hard drive is bad IF it has a hard drive.  I am not able to figure out how to open to replace it or replace whatever is wrong.  I have worked on computers for a long time and never have a seen a laptop0 or notebook that is so problematic in fixing something.  Please ... if anyone can point me in the right direction on how to open it up, let me know.
Thanks

Here is the Manual:

This is not your exact model but helpful:

Unfortunately you have to remove the top cover and expose the motherboard to get to the hard drive and memory access requires removal of the motherboard.
