Hi @Funnyface14,

Thank you for showing your interest in HP Support Forums. As I understand the computer is powering on, however, doesn't boot into windows, And it turns off after a few seconds after it's turned on,

To provide an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

What is the product number of this computer? (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).

Have you performed any steps on your own before posting on the HP Forums?

In the meantime, you perform the below steps:

Let's start off by performing a Hard reset on the notebook: A power reset (or hard restart) clears all information from the computer's memory without erasing any personal data. Performing a power reset might fix conditions such as Windows not responding, a blank display, software freezing, the keyboard stops responding, or other external devices locking up.

If the computer still turns off every few seconds, try with an alternate adapter and/or remove the battery and try turning on the computer without the battery,

only connect the adapter and start, let me know if that works.

Next thing, I would suggest here is to turn on the computer and then tap the Esc key continuously until you see the Startup menu, On the start up menu, press F10 to enter the Bios. On the Bios screen please check if the computer stays on or does it shut down. If the PC shuts down even in the Bios then it's a hardware issue.

If the PC stays fine on the Bios, I would suggest you update the Bios and Chipset drivers from our HP support website, using this link.

Next thing, I would suggest here is to run an extensive System diagnostic test as well as an extensive test on the Hard drive and Memory from F2 (Please capture the failure ID for further assistance).

Please respond to this post with the result of your troubleshooting. I look forward to hearing from you.

If you wish to help others looking for the same solution as you've found, mark the post as Accepted Solution.

And I Hope you have a good day, Ahead.
