HP Pavilion 17-f084ca hangs on HP logo after Windows 10 install

HP Pavilion 17-f084ca

HP Pavilion 17-f084ca hangs on HP logo after Windows. The quality of HP laptops is questionable. This is a common issue amongst HP laptops.

I did the hard reset. Unfortunately, I didn't create a recovery disc

HP produces high quality products only and does its best to keep the quality as high as possible. I have many years experience with lots of vendors and I can guarantee you there are no better PC vendor.

 

With regards to your questions/issue - this is Windows issue specifically, not HP caused issue.

 

Did your PC come with Win 8 (8.1) preinstalled ?

Since the W10 installation failed, you will need to restore your PC to the original factory condition (e.g. with W8) and if you decide later to upgrade to Win 10, here is the official article >> http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04730900

There are some steps that you need to follow to prepare for the upgrade (such as uninstall your AV and security software, update drivers, etc...)
