HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-ab254sa Processor Upgrade?

L2W62EA#ABU
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey, fellow forum users.

I have questions concerning the processor in my HP Pavillion 15 Notebook. Mainly being,

-is it possible that I could upgrade the current dual core i3 I have to an i5 or even i7?

-Is there any other upgrades I can make to beef the notebook up as I mostly use it for gaming  and I can hardly get 20 FPS?

-Or do you advise I sell this laptop as I cannot upgrade the motherboard?

I have tried using the already existing support for processor upgrades on the HP support website but it was no help at all and I've had to do a lot of digging to no avail.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, I hope you are able to answer my questions and I'm sorry for my inability as I have very little experience with hardware.

Much thanks, Halogen.

HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-ab254sa Processor Upgrade?

Hi,

Did you know you also need to upgrade the motherboard ? And this would be a very, very, very expensive upgrade. You can find a list of available boards from page 62 of the first manual of the following link:
