HP Pavilion dv7-1245dx Notebook PC - NOT STARTING, BLACK SCREEN

HP Recommended
Pavilion dv7-1245dx
Microsoft Windows Vista

Hi!

I'd like to ask help regarding my laptop which doesn't start up. Hope your answers will help me make it work again.

Laptop: HP Pavilion dv7-1245dx Entertainment Notebook PC

I plug in the charger to turn it on and the lights turn on too. I also hear the fan underneath.

But the screen displays nothing. IT'S JUST BLACK.

I try to turn it on only with the battery installed but the screen is still the same.

I press any button on the keypad but the laptop doesn't respond to it.

At the same time, the Caps Lock and Num Lock lights simultaneously blink four (4) times.

I wait it out to see if the screen will show something, but nothing displays.

The Caps Lock light eventually stops blinking, while the Num Lock light blinks more slowly when I wait it out.

Would anyone know the cause of this? And how can I possibly solve this on my own, if there's any way?

Hope you can help me please. I need this to work for school now.

Thank you very much...
