HP Pavillion battery status "plugged in, not charging"

HP Pavillion 11-n010dx x360 PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

A few days ago, I upgraded my HP Pavillion from Windows 8 to Windows 10. After the download, my laptop was entirely dead so I charged it. My laptop worked completely fine before the download. The next day, I noticed my laptop wont charge. The status of the battery says “plugged in, not charging”. I shut down my computer and restarted it with the same result. I then searched the HP forums and uninstalled the driver and again, restarted my computer. This didn’t work either. I tried different wall sockets and even attempted to take out the battery but the back cover of my laptop wont come off.

I called HP Support and the gentleman on the line was extremely rude to me. I couldn’t understand his thick accent and I had a hard time understanding my case number, as I am dyslexic, and he seemed to get irritated when I asked him to speak slower. He spoke very slowly and told me that I was stupid. Frustrated, I hung up.

My problem is still not solved and I am confined to the wall and I cant unplug my laptop without it shutting down on me. Please Help!
