HP Probook 450 g4
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

i am having an issue powering on my laptop that i only got less than 6 months ago from school. The LED indicator on the side is lite up and blinking from white to orange consistently. What could possibly be wrong with this or Why is it not turning on?

Had this same issue, with the 450 G4.  The solution;

Remove all connected devices and power lead.  The White LED will remain on, Press and Hold Power On button for between 30-40 seconds.  The White LED will eventually go off.

Then power it back on again.

Not sure WHY, HP are following other  manufacturers with sealing the battery as they are making their devices throw away devices instead of repairable/upgradable.

What APPLE have done and continuing to do to the industry is rubbish, APPLE are about making as much money as possible and ripping people off by forcing consumers to throw their devices away instead of making them last longer and limiting support.

HP please do not follow suite.

I have the same problem except the light is off. I have tried unplugging all devices and power cable inclusive and then pressing the power button for about 30-40 seconds. It has not worked. Any idea on how I can fix this?
