HP Probook 4520s and Windows 10 > Bluetooth

Hi, Christoph:

Unfortunately the Ralink BT 3.0 or older hardware version does not work in W8, 8.1 or W10.

Ralink cards with the BT 4.0 version hardware have support for those operating systems.

If you want internal bluetooth, you would need to replace the wireless card with one listed in the service manual.

The only other supported wlan card with BT that I see listed is this one...

Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n 1x1 WiFi and 2070 Bluetooth 2.1+EDR Combo Adapter -- HP Part # 600370-00.

I believe that model wireless card and bluetooth radio will work on W10 but I can't say for sure with 100% certainty.

HP Probook 4520s and Windows 10 > Bluetooth

Thanks Paul,

I would like to try it out, but I dont have a clue where I could buy it. And I guess HP wont send to a "private" Person to the Philippines or Uganda.

Anyway, thanks a lot for your time (y)

You're very welcome.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to go on e-bay, query by the part number and see if you can get a used but tested and working wireless card.

The card has to have the HP part number on it or it won't work which is why I suggest searching by the HP part number and not the model wlan card.
