HP Probook 6570b Quick lunch botton (MUTE) Stuck in Orange

Steps to drain the Static charge and loading default BIOS settings to resolve the issue
Step 01. Turn OFF the Notebook

Step 02. Un-plug the Power/AC Adapter and also remove the Battery too

Step 03. Press and Hold the Power Button of the Notebook for a full minute

Step 04. Now let's re-insert the battery back in and plug back the Power/AC Adapter

Step 05. Start the Notebook and keep tapping F10 Key during the startup to access the BIOS

Step 06. Once you get to the BIOS, Please press F5 Key to load setup defaults for the BIOS

Step 07. Now let's press Esc/Escape Key. Save Changes and Exit - Yes

Step 08. Now please wait till the Unit loads the Windows Operating system

These steps should ideally fix the issue if not you re-install the Quick Launch Button Driver from HP Site

Bios fix didnt solve the issue and also i reinstall the hotkey driver ... the mute key is working and all the other keys but only the mute key stuck in orange..

 

kidly confirm for me that this is the right link for the hotkey driver

yes , i already did the insllation and still same . i have one of my friend have the same laptop and it work in this laptop fine and when the press the mute botton a volume screen display on this motitor at the middle bottom but for me nothing ...

 

any other saluation ??

According to the message you have recently posted I would like to confirm that this could be a hardware issue and I strongly recommend you to immediately Contact HP Technical Support over the Phone for further assistance without any delay to get your Notebook diagnosed and serviced by an authorized HP Certified Engineer
