HP Stream won't turn on, but charging light is on

HP Stream Model: 13-c002dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

This morning, I was working on my computer when it would randomly shut off. It did it a few times and I could immediately turn it back on. Now, it will not turn on at all. The light that says it is charging works. Also, if i close the laptop then open it back up, the power button will light up, then making an odd sound, and shut off again. The battery is not a removable one either, so I do not know what to do. Please help, I just spent 2 hours working on an assignment and it will all be lost if I can't get it turned back on.
