HP Warranty site can't find product number

HP Envy
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My daughter's laptop had a piece (from the charge-connector) fall off, and now it won't take a charge (actually, it sort of does, but that's not for this forum).

We're at the HP Warranty site, and entering the serial number and product number, but the site won't take the number (which is M1W07UA). The box, laptop itself, and the BIOS all show the same product number, and we've tried both an O and a 0 (letter and digit) in that spot of the number.

The site says "unable to find a match based on the information provided." We're entering both the serial number and the product number carefully, and still getting this error.

Can anyone offer some help?

Thanks very much,

Mark

HP Warranty site can't find product number

Hi,

M1W07UA is a valid product number which is for  HP ENVY NOTEBOOK - M7-N101DX laptop:

      http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?SearchText=M1W07UA

Is it still under warranty ? It is over 1 year old now. If yes, please call HP directly:

Regards.

HP Warranty site can't find product number

Thanks for the reply. Yes, it was purchased in August 2015, so we are aware it is (almost certainly) not under manufacturer warranty. But we are working with our credit card company (Visa) on the extended warranty coverage, so we need to work with HP on this.

Again, thanks.
