HP Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Dongle

So I've had my HP wireless mouse and keyboard (and computer) for about 8-9 months, and today I lost the receiver/dongle for the keyboard mouse combo. Is there anyway I could get/buy a replacement for that little thing instead of having to get a whole new keyboard and mouse because I lost the receiver?

HP Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Dongle

My 2 year old C6000 receiver just died... I'd like to buy a replacement but this link -> http://partsurfer.hp.com/search.aspx simply tells me that no parts are available for my keyboard. It was top of his class at the time... now it's just obsolete?

HP's answer is: buy a new package, do not insist with these products

HP Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Dongle

Just as i thought, HP could not care less about sustainability, and many people across the world who have lost the riduculously small receiver dongle, still have to buy a whole mouse/keyboard package yet again, when they, like me, probably already have at least two or three mouse/keyboards, now redundant!! Thanks for nothing HP; part surfer is as useless as this pointless forum, which has taken weeks, and continually failed to resolve the trails of post mails. The design of the dongle is too small; if made larger with rubber grip, it would very likely not be lost. A simple suggestion? it would save large customer dissatisfaction; meantime, as gesture of goodwill, how about some free dongles for all who are missing them!! 🙂
