Sorry to say but your first link is dead.
Just found this site since I just installed a new video card and now am having drive problems,. So basically the issues are becoming lemons. one problem after another and this just stinks..From what i have found and read HP is really bad on the motherboard issues, the error code BIOHD-8 is not always a driver problem.. so I am trying to find a way to fix my issue and which one is exactlly wrong with it.

To aswer everybody who has questions about having thier laptops fixed by HP, from what I've personally experienced and what I've seen other people experience, HP way overcharges for repairs and they alway's have an excuse so they don't have to have it covered under warranty. I actually called HP to see if I could order a new motherboard for one of my laptops and they told me it wasn't available however they went on to say that if I sent them the computer for them to repair then they would replace the motherboard. I will say this....I will never buy another HP as long as I live. I've had much better luck with Toshiba. They've fixed things for me that weren't covered under warranty and didn't charge me any money accept for the shipping and they've also sent me parts for free. They even reinstalled my operating system for free. I fix computer's for a side job and hobby and to be honest with you, HP is the only company I ever have a hard time getting parts and aswers from.

HP makes sure you cannot fix in most cases their machines are trash when you buy them and they are trash when they break so just throw it away.
