Hard reset

HP 241 G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Will hard reset result in loss of valuable data (data in hard disk)?

Hard reset

Thank you, I'm currently facing " no bootable device" error. So i was wondering how to solve it.

Should I hard reset before going for reseating the hard drive or Should I do something else?
