HP sleekbook - 15-b001ee
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop restarted unpredictably and couldn't boot again. It then showed HDD failure.

When I touched the laptop, it was too much hot from the right side but cold from the left.

I let it cool for few minutes and then started again. and it started normally

but few days later it restarted but without any boot error. But the system was hot from right side.

I ran diagnostic and it gave this error:

Failure ID: 9QEDXK-6KN8LK-MFPX0K-60WG03 (HDD Short DSt Check)

your help and guidance will be admirable.

regards,

Greetings @auwahmad

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are facing an issue with your computer where it is not booting to the desktop.

Not to worry, I will be glad to help.

Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.

As you have already run the test and the HDD test has failed, request you replace the HDD on your computer and install the OS using the recovery kit created on the computer.

For any service options, please contact our phone support for assistance.

Keep me posted.
