Hi

Updates can sometimes take time to initiate, or not be allowed if there is no key.

As to the wireless situation, was it it a clean install of Win 7, completely reformatting etc?

If so you need to go thru Device Manager and prove that the hardware is installed cleanly, then search for drivers.

So how far along this process are you?

All Ik so far is that it was a fresh install and there's no updates on it because it will not let me Windows update and I can't find the wireless card on my laptop it only has the network controller if that makes any sense my laptop is a hp 655

Hi

So it is Windows 7, freshly installed.

In Device Manager; View; is there an option to Show hidden Devices?  Is your Wi-Fi showing in Device Manager?

Look for Hardware first, is it installed?

Are the drivers installed?

Run thru netfix.bat and see if anything is showing as Wi-Fi related.

Troubleshooter at ceeandbeetee.uk

Copy, paste and Save AS netfix.bat in Notepad
