You need to contact the people who sold you the laptop. No computer with a 7th generation Intel Core processor easily supports Windows 7. I would also be surprised if you can't join your company domain from Windows 10. The networking stack of Code for Windows 10 is not much different than Windows 7.

Anyway, this is not HP Sales and we have no ability to change product orders.

Thanks for your support, I will contact the local company in order to try to swap it with another machine which supports windows7 but I know it's difficult that they accept to swap it

I am sure they won't be thrilled to do that and the larger problem is that brand new laptops generally do not support Windows 7 and at the least are a real challenge to get Windows 7 working.

Hi, @Ahmed_ismaiel :

The 840 G3 was the last in that series to support W7.

If the vendor won't exchange the notebook or will charge you an arm and a leg to do it, you should be able to get W7 to work with some difficulty.

If your notebook has the onboard Intel graphics adapter only, then you can modify the W10 graphics driver and that may work.

See the last reply on this discussion for how to do that.

For the rest of the drivers and software, I'm thinking the W7 drivers from the 840 G3 should work.

But don't use the BIOS and firmware files.
