I want to restore my laptop to factory reset.

Pavillion G6
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi All,

My laptop performance is very slow, now i have to restore to factory reset. i am trying to do from my backup CD's but no luck. I kept cd in laptop and press F9 and selected from Internal CD. From HP recovery manager i am selecting options. But it is not moving from 30%. Please help guys how to recover laptop to original settings.

I want to restore my laptop to factory reset.

Enter the BIOS and change the system date to 01/20/2012

Press F10 to save the change and then start the recovery process again.

I want to restore my laptop to factory reset.

Make usb recovery media flashdrive. They are far more reliable than a recovery DVD set.

How is it that you plan to make it?

Can you still boot to the Windows login screen?
