Hi HP experts..
I want to make a clean install of my Windows 7 home premium 64 bit, and i have allways used my Recovery disks when it was necessary to format, and afterwards updated all the drivers from the HP support and drivers section, but this is a slowly process, and i dont even know in what order i should update drivers when doing it that way either, and often a message have popped ud saying " the driver isnt installed correctly - try again or the driver is installed correctly ". But as mentioned i want to do a clean install with my Windows 7 home premium 64 bit disc, and would like some expert advise about in what order the drivers should be installed. Can anyone help?
Best regards hpenvy1

The generally accepted order of driver installation is:
1. Install the chipset driver and reboot.
2. Install the graphics driver(s) and reboot.
3. Install the audio driver and reboot.
4. Install the ethernet driver.
5. Install the wireless driver.
Then you can install any driver you want.
I also make a practice of updating to the latest service pack before installing any drivers if applicable.
