Incorrect Password - Unable to switch to Administrator Account

HP ENVY 15-q014tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I tried to make changes in the control setting, a msg pop up requesting me to type a admin password to continue but there is nowhere to type any password.

I googled and found out that I have to go to safe mode to switch from standard account to admin account. While in safe mode it keep prompting that I keyed in an incorrect password.

Right now I can't make any changes at all and I cant switch to admin account as I do not know / remember my password.

Pls adivise how to switch back to admin account as I can't make any changes to my pc in standard account. Thanks!

Note: When I bought this laptop it came with Windows 8.1 and was later updated to window 10

Also I'm able to log into my microsoft account. So I assume its not the same password as admin password?
