Laptop charger not charging.

HP Envy Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, this is urgent. This just happened a while ago. I was playing a game here on my laptop and it was under 20% battery life, as I continued to play when it was plugged in. And all of a sudden I hear a spark and then my laptop shut down unexpectedly, and I immediately unplugged it and tried turning it on but it wouldn't turn on for a few minutes. Afterwards everything was normal, but as I plugged the charger back in the light indicator on the side of my laptop wont lit up anymore.

So I'm not sure if it's my laptop or the charger is broken. Please help.

Hi @Dave_112115,

I understand you were playing a game and as the battery power was getting low, you connected it to power. You continued to play when you heard a spark and the laptop shut down. You immediately unplugged it and tried turning it on but,  it wouldn't turn on for a few minutes. Afterward, everything was normal, but as you plugged the charger back in the light indicator on the side of the laptop  did not light up.
