Hi my laptop screen has gone black while I was woeking on it and the fan came on ...the fan has been going for ages even unplugged so I took battery out. Today I turned it on and again screen black and fan going like mad....help...

I am sorry for the issues you experience with your HP computer.

 

This seems like a hardware problem to me. Does the PC emit any blinking lights when the issue starts ?

 

Please, review these 3 HP official articles about such issues you experience now. Follow the appropriate steps that fit your case to attempt to fix the issue:

If you did try everything but nothing helped, I am afraid you will need to bring your computer (or ship it) to service - HP Authorized service center. If the computer is still under warranty, you will need to notify HP support first. If you are not sure where such a center is located, please contact HP support for assistance in finding one.
