Laptop will not boot after Windows 10 upgrade

HP Recommended
HP ENVY 4-1204sa Ultrabook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The laptop will not boot after Windows 10 upgrade.  When power on the screen asks for Administrator Password or Power on Password. Entering "password" brings up a blue screen with Recovery, your PC/Device needs to be repaired. The Boot Configuration Data  file is missing some required information Error code 0xc0000034

Any help gratefully accepted,

@ArferGuinness, welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out.

I understand that your HP ENVY 4-1204sa Ultrabook will not boot after Windows 10 upgrade.

Don't worry as I have a few steps that should help fix this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: Computer Does Not Start (Windows 10)

Let me know how that works.

I hope you have a good day ahead.
