M6 Envy Broken Hinge Cover

Microsoft Windows Vista

I called HP many times about my broken hinge cover issue and was told each time that they would fix it but wanted to charge me $300.00. This is not my first HP product but it will be my last. The suggested resolution to my issue by charging me $300 is disgraceful and unacceptable!

I am having the same issue.... this has to be a factory defect... left hinge broken.  I have also had several HP products but no more poor design and support.  I have an HP ENVY m6.

@usar4me

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post serial numbers and case details.

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, this post has instructions.
