HP Recommended
Product: HP ENVY 17-s017cl Notebook
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Have tried researching, but can not seem to find a definitive answer. Most of the recommended replacement drives are 7mm, but I would assume a 9.5mm would also fit. I also assume that one of the 15mm Barricudas will not.

Supports 6.35-cm (2.5-in) SATA hard drives in 9.5 mm (.37 in) and 7.0 mm (.28 in) thicknesses

I think the 15mm would be too thick.
